
Abhijit Patil
is a photographer from Pune, India. His body of work ranges from documentary photography to commercial food photography.

With more than 10 years of experience as a food photographer his list of clients include Sante, Noaa, The Urban Foundry, The Flour Works, Social, Indigo Deli, Stone Water Grill, German Bakery, Spice Mantra and many more.
As a photojournalist he has worked with the likes of India Today, TOI group, Sakal publication, AFP, AP, Forbes India and AJ+. He is the recipient of Media Foundation of India Award (2014) for his work 'Rojandari' (Daily wage) and Democratic Youth Federation of India Award (2019) for his project 'Male Gaze'.

He is also the founder of a public intervention project called 'humsadakchhaap', that has displayed work of more than 80 artists in four guerrilla style exhibitions until now.
​
He now moonlights as a permaculterist working in the western ghats trying to learn, preserve and document the wild.
